When the submarine lost contact, a search effort began that engaged the entire world.

On board were five people, a Pakistani businessman, Shahzada Dawoodand his teenage son Suleman Dawood. Also a British billionaire, Hamish Harding. Stockton Rushfounder and director of Oceangate which owns the mini submarine and the French explorer Paul-Henry Nargeolet.

Finally, they found wreckage on the bottom of the Atlantic from the submarine Titan and suspect that it imploded. Everyone who found their way onto the mini-sub died.

Subway’s distasteful advertising is causing outrage

Now the picture has gone viral and many are discussing the Subway sandwich chain and how they are handling the tragic accident.

“Our subs don’t implode”, says a billboard in the US. The advertisement is clever as Subway’s sandwiches are called “subs”, just like the abbreviation for submarine, which in English means submarine.

The store manager told Fox News that they have been in contact with their employees that this type of comment is not okay. The sign must also be taken down, writes Fox Business.

“That’s disrespectful as fuck! Bet if that was their family they wouldn’t think it’s so funny,” writes a comment in the post above, and several seem to agree that this is inappropriate.

While many laugh at the advertisement and the person who did this and think that person has probably been fired by now.
