In France, people continue to protest against President Macron’s plans to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64.

At times it became very noisy and violent in Paris – among other things, cars were set on fire and riot police used tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.

It is the fourth round of protests against Macron’s pension reform, and according to organizers, up to two million took part in demonstrations across France.
