Vin Diesel’s racing car franchise is entering the home straight. Fast & Furious 10 will be released in cinemas shortly, and Fast & Furious 11 is scheduled to close the series next year. For the grand finale, Diesel wants to bring Marvel hero Robert Downey Jr. on board. The role sounds tailor-made for the MCU veteran. Diesel explained to Variety:

[Ich will] Robert Downey Jr. […] There will be a character who is kind of the antithesis of Dom [Toretto] represents. He promotes artificial intelligence and driverless cars and stands for a philosophy that restricts our freedom.

That sounds very much like a role Downey Jr. has had practice in. After all, at the beginning of his MCU career in Iron Man, world savior Tony Stark was still a progressive, technology-obsessed entrepreneur who cared little about the consequences of his attitude.
