Vimpelin Veto and Manse PP celebrate – the Superpesis regular

The regular season of Superpesis is coming to an end. Now the winners of the regular series were confirmed, Vimpeli for men and Manse for women.

Vimpelin Veto, defending the men’s baseball championship, renewed its Superpesis regular season win last season. The matter was confirmed two rounds before the final matches, when Joensuu’s Maila lost to Vedo, who visited Mehtimäki, 1–2 (3–2, 1–4, 3–6).

– There haven’t been many weaker games in the series. The team’s growth over the summer has been what it should be. We got the players back from the army so that the away game was balanced, summed up Veto’s game director Tomi Niskanen.

The biggest heroes of JoMa’s opening episode were found in the outfield. Six forwards of the guests burned Iiro Nokkala accounted for the first five crosses. Manse PP to win the women’s regular season

Manse PP secured the victory of the women’s Superpesis regular season. The first place in the regular season was secured when Manse beat Lapua Virkiä 2–0 (2–1,3–2). Siri School hit Manselle for two runs and the other runs were accounted for Virpi Hukka, Lina Olenius and Maija Vastamäki.

Manse has 56 points and second place Pesäkarhui 48 with two rounds left.

In the second match of the evening, Seinäjoki Maila-Jussit beat Rauma Fera 1–0 (7–2,3–3).
