Finnish goalie of the Detroit Red Wings Ville Husso had to leave the rink already in the opening game against the Anaheim Ducks in the hockey NHL battle.
Detroit reported on message service X that Husson suffered a lower body injury and the Finn did not return to the rink in the match. Detroit suffered a 3–4 loss to Anaheim.
In the match against Dallas, Seattle rose to a 3-3 tie with 22 seconds left when Eeli Tolvanen suti into the loose puck that bounced in front of the goal.
The goal was the best of his career, the ninth of the season for the Finn who plays in the NHL. In total, Tolvanen has collected 9+12 performances in 33 matches this season.
Dallas beat Seattle in overtime 4-3. Thomas Harley settled the struggle for the Stars.
The Pittsburgh coach praised Valtteri Puusti
Valtteri Puustinen scored two goals as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Minnesota Wild 4-3.
In Pittsburgh’s opening goal, Puustinen managed to push the end of the puck in front of the goal, from which Reilly Smith shot the puck into the crease. In Pittsburgh’s 3-0 win, Puustinen passed For Yevgeni Malkinwho was able to put the puck into the goal from an open spot.
For Puusti, the game was the fifth of the season in the NHL, and the Kuopio native now has 0+4 performances. Before the current season, Puustinen had one NHL game under his belt from the second season.
Pittsburgh head coach Mike Sullivan praised the Finnish striker at the press conference after the match.
– I think he has been really good. “He’s eager to learn and improve every game,” Sullivan said on Pittsburgh’s website.
