Among the top eight in the Football Champions League will be seen three clubs from Spain and three from England.
Chelsea and Villarreal redeemed their seats in the men’s quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday. Chelsea defeated Lille 2-1 in the away team and advanced to 4-1. Villarreal also celebrated a away win and a relay when it defeated Juventus 3-0 in Turin and advanced to the top eight with a combined score of 4-1.
Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Benfica will also be seen in the semi-finals, with three clubs from England and three from Spain among the top eight. Semi-final pairs will be drawn on Friday.
Chelsea arrived at Lille’s home stadium with a tasty 2-0 win over the opening season. In the opening half, Chelsea’s scores were scarce, but once the London team got the ball into the net for wigs.
