The date for Vikings Valhalla Season 2 is not yet known, however. We know for the time being that it has been shot and is in the post-production phase. The American media specializing in the series hope to discover the rest of the series at the end of 2022, or even in 2023. Jeb Stuart, showrunner of the series, has already spoken about season 2 of Vikings Valhalla with Collider. Stuart announces that he considers this season 2 to have “a different vibe. The same characters move through the story and progress in a straight line in this direction but they will be able to move and change. I see it as a continuous story but, in same time, each season has its own identity.” Also note that a season 3 of the Vikings spin-off has been ordered by Netflix. Vikings: Valhalla is set 100 years after the events of the original series, Vikings. Logically, therefore, we should not find the characters of the old series. It is therefore difficult to imagine the return of Ragnar Lothbrok, especially since the character died in a pit filled with snakes. However, it is quite possible that we discover characters who are linked to Ragnar in this spin -off, failing to find the hero of the original series.
Vikings: Valhalla is a streaming-exclusive series. It is put online on the Netflix platform on February 25, 2022. You must therefore have a subscription to be able to discover the spin-off (but also the sequel) of Vikings in legal streaming. Being an original production of Netflix, the series should not one day be broadcast on television or be accessible on other platforms.
