Viivi Lehikoinen improved his 400m hurdles SE time by a tenth.
Viivi Lehikoinen has run a new Finnish women’s 400 meter hurdles record. Lehikoinen ran to victory in the athletics championships held in Huelva, Spain with a record time of 54.40.
The Finnish runner improved his SE time by ten hundredths. He had run it in last summer’s European Championships.
The Finnish record is Lehikoinen’s third in the 400-meter hurdles. The value of Lehikoinen’s bet is increased by the fact that it was only his second race of the season.
The time 54.40 is a competition record.
In his time, Lehikoinen was second in European statistics. Above is only the Netherlands Femke Bol with a terrific time of 52.43.
Before last summer, the Finnish record was Tuija Helanderin 54.62 run in Rome in 1987.
