The Swedish people’s obsession with the Beck films never seems to cool off. In 2023 came Beck – Inferno which became a big hit among fans. Now, in 2024, it’s time for Beck – Deadlock, which will be about Josef’s return to his post. When a man with a clean criminal record is found brutally murdered in his home, the Beck Group is called in again.
In the roles we see, among others Peter Haber, Elmira Arikan, Jennie Silver helmet and Walter Skarsgård.
The joy of the viewers when the news about the film came was a fact, the audience also became a little worried after seeing Peter Haber in a clip on Instagram. It was on TV4’s Instagram account that Peter Haber opened up about his feelings about the enormous success that Beck has become.

– Hello, dear audience. My name is Peter Haber and I have played Martin Beck in 50 films. That doesn’t sound wise. When we made the first film 27 years ago, we had no idea there would be this many. And one can ask why that has happened, he says and continues:
– It is your merit. It is your interest in our films that has resulted in so many.
The comments quickly poured in and many were about Haber’s serious tone in the clip. The tone had made many believe that this was his last Beck film.
“Was I the only one who thought he was going to say #50 would be the last?” read one of the comments that received hundreds of likes.
But that was not the case.
Viewers rage on TV4 after the premiere
But now there are more strong feelings that flared up among the viewers.
This after TV4 posted the film on its streaming service. TV4 has written that the film can be streamed “on TV4 Play”. The truth is, however, that you must have TV4 Play+, which is an additional package on the service.

Apart from the critical comments about the price, people seem to be very happy with the film as a whole.
