Viewers mock the TV4 expert: “Sorry”

Viewers mock the TV4 expert Sorry

Last Friday it was time for one of the year’s fashion highlights, the Elle gala at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. It’s a chance for celebrities and industry professionals to show off their best outfits, and it’s sure to be both high and low on the red carpet.

During Sunday, the fashion expert visited Emilia de Poret TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon to talk about the gala and fashion. But instead of paying attention to the gala, the viewers’ eyes are fixed on something else.

Several prizes were awarded during the gala. One of them was the best dressed man of the year award, which went to the artist and style icon Benjamin Ingrosso. He won with the reasoning:

“Italian references, unisex pieces and wide trousers have the same obvious place in his versatile wardrobe. Inspiring, innovative – and entertaining.”

But during the interview with the fashion expert, it is not the gala that catches the viewers’ attention. It is instead her own dress.

– So this is a denim dress with sequins over it so that it looks like water, she says in the program.

The dress she wears in the show is the same one she wore at the gala.

– It’s not comfortable if you ask me.

The choice of clothing did not go down well with the viewers, judging from the comments that have poured in on the news morning’s Instagram. Here are some comments:

“Unfortunately? Looks like a tarp from Santa.”

“Sorry. Thought it was a gray tarp too.”

“Yes it looks like a tarp”

“Looks like a modern version of a kraka that came wrapped in a net. Neither clothed nor naked.”
