OLD PLOWS. The Breton festival of Vieilles Charrues celebrated its 30th anniversary from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 July 2022!
[Mis à jour le 18 juillet 2022 à 17h52] “Kenavo, see you next year”: the Vieilles Charrues festival celebrated its 30th anniversary with dignity. From Thursday July 14 to Sunday July 17, 2022, nearly 280,000 festival-goers walked the lawn of the site, in Carhaix, in Finistère. A positive assessment for the Breton event, which is pleased with a successful edition. “Thank you to the 7,150 volunteers without whom the Vieilles Charrues would not exist, to the festival teams, to the security, to the partners, to the artists… and to our dear 280,000 festival-goers aka the best public in France”, can we read on the Twitter account of the Vieilles Charrues, which are already giving an appointment to the public next year, for a 2023 edition.
The Vieilles Charrues 2022 festival, which had been sold out for weeks, will have been marked by the performances of many artists, under the overwhelming heat, such as Orelsan, Angèle, Vianney, Clara Luciani, Juliette Armanet, Feu! Chatterton, but also DJ Snake, Meute, Bob Sinclar, Rilès or Vladimir Cauchemar.

Les Vieilles Charrues 2022 had counted on attracting crowds thanks to its programming which, if it may lack originality compared to the others festivals of the summer, was unanimous and seduced by its eclecticism. Discover the program day by day:

The 2022 edition of Les Vieilles Charrues, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of the festival, took place from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 July 2022, i.e. four days of celebration and music. For now, the organizers have not revealed the 2023 dates of the festival.
