Video shows what the fantasy series would have looked like
Be it Snatch, Jack Queen King GrAs or RocknRolla, Guy Ritchie has clear trademarks. His heroes are tough, cranky gangster characters who get into the most unbelievable, often bloody situations as a result of bizarre coincidences. The films by the British director can already be recognized from the dialogues alone. How would it have looked if he happened to be in the director’s chair of the Harry Potter series? A TikTok user has now investigated this question. Fantasy series as a gangster film: Harry Potter’s gang wants to break Voldemort’s legs

As Ritchie fans will expect, the entire Potter ensemble is transformed into rough-hewn rascals from London’s underworld in the video. Voldemort threatens Harry in blue collar accent Ron wants to break his legs for it. Hagrid is a well-rounded con artist who sells dragons instead of dogs to his customers.

Such dialogues could be straight out of Ritchie’s cult films. Backed by the snatch soundtrack, vulgarities and threats are exchanged here in underworld slang. Hagrid is reminiscent of Brad Pitt’s character from Snatch, Harry could be played by Jason Statham.

As some viewers rightly point out, The most important female protagonist, Hermine, is also missing. Ritchie is known for often focusing on a group of men in his films, while female characters are only marginally featured.
