The year 2022 has started with a bang on the gaming side with the big successes of Elden Ring, Pokémon Arceus, Horizon Forbidden West and many others. The industry continues its momentum with the video game releases of April.

After the big releases in February, and a slightly more timid month of March, April is on our doorstep. And this early spring is still as busy for players as very big titles and ports are released throughout the month. Here is the calendar of video game releases for the month of April, among which we find big names like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Chernobylite or Nintendo Switch Sports, but not only.

What video games are coming out in April 2022?

  • Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga : The return of the cocktail that introduced the world to Lego games in TT Games’ most ambitious project to date. Released April 5
  • MLB The Show 22 : Baseball fans will find what they are looking for in this simulation straight out of San Diego studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released April 7 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, as well as Nintendo Switch
  • Chrono Cross The Radical Dreamer Edition : The remaster of the cult game of the Playstation 1 by Square Enix. Released April 7 on PCPS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch
  • Orcs Must Die 3 Cold As Eyes DLC : The unique tower defense that is Orc Must Die 3 offers a sizeable DLC with Cold as Eyes, including new opponents, new scenarios and wacky traps. Released April 7 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
  • The House of The Dead Remake : Another classic brought up to date. The 1997 on-rails shooter gets a new makeover on Nintendo Switch. Released April 7 on Nintendo Switch.
  • Tormented Souls : One will be released that will delight fans of horror games, with this unprecedented survival transporting us on the trail of two twin girls who disappeared in a sinister mansion. Released April 14 on Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
  • Road 96 : The new project from the French studio DigixArt which offers a first-person procedural adventure in which you will try to leave the fictional country of Petria. Released April 15 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
  • Chernobylite : The famous survival-horror with Chernobyl sauce offers two next-gen versions with this release on PS5 and Xbox Series. The game will be available on April 21th.
  • MotoGP 22 : A release dedicated to fans of motorsport simulations on two wheels, with this new component developed by Milestone. Released April 21 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
  • Pocky & Rocky Reshrined : The return of the small shoot-em up imbued with Japanese culture. A single or two-player adventure. Released April 21 on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
  • The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe : This release is a revival of the 2013 hit The Stanley Parable, a first-person exploration game where you have to solve the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of your colleagues. Released April 27 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Switch.
  • Kaiju Wars : A release dedicated to those nostalgic for strategy games on PC. Kaiju Wars immerses you in the struggle of a distraught humanity against the Kaijus, all with arcade-like graphics. Released April 28 on PC.
  • Tasomachi Behind The Twilight : A game of adventure, puzzle and exploration in a fantasy world. Reserved for travel enthusiasts, and ported to PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Released April 28.
  • Nintendo Switch Sports : What memories do we have Wiimote in hand to hit in a tennis ball or baseball in Wii Sports. Nintendo Switch Sports is the new version of Nintendo’s sports simulation game, a highly anticipated release that will take place on next April 29exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
