On Tuesday, November 26, it was time for SVT to go out with the artists who are competing in Melodifestivalen 2025. On February 1, it is time for the first part of the competition, and on March 8, the grand finale takes place in the Strawberry Arena. The contribution that the songbird collects there gets to represent Sweden in Basel, Switzerland, where the final is held on May 17.
In 2024 it was the Norwegian twins Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen who shouldered the role of the Swedish Eurovision entry. The song “Unforgettable” finished in ninth place with 174 points.

What made you take part in Melodifestivalen this year?
– I got this song, “Love it!”, sent to me. And I felt that it really was me. And I flew to Stockholm to record it, and it felt so good with the songwriter and with the song. So I did the best I could and then it turned out like this, she says News24 and adds.
– It was really last minute. I thought, why not? I can try it. It’s now or never.
