MUSIC VICTORIES. This Friday, February 10, takes place the 38th ceremony of the Victoires de la Musique, presented by Laury Thilleman live from the musical Seine.

The annual high mass of France 2 and France Inter, which rewards, as every year, the artists who have marked the year, is held this Friday February 10, 2023, from 9:10 p.m., live from the musical Seine of Boulogne-Billancourt. This 38th edition of the Victoires de la musique, presented by Laury Thilleman, will have the singer Calogero as president and will see Serge Lama awarded an honorary Victoire de la musique for his entire career. If the winners of the Victoires de la Musique will be known throughout the ceremony, Friday February 10, several big favorites are already emerging. With four nominations (Male Artist, Original Song for hellAlbum and Audiovisual Creation), it is Stromae who appears to be the great favorite of the evening, carried by his latest album, Multitudereleased March 4, 2022. Next is the rapper Orelsana regular at the Victoires de la Musique, nominated in three categories (Original Song and Audiovisual Creation for The questand Concert), then Bigflo and OliGrand Corps Malade, Gaël Faye and Ben Mazué, Angèle, Apple, Clara LucianiJuliette Armanet and Pierre de Maere, each competing in two categories.

What are the categories of the Victoires de la musique 2023?
In 2023, like last year, artists will be nominated in eight different categories: Male Artist, Female Artist, Male Revelation, Female Revelation, Album, Original Song, Concert and Audiovisual Creation. The novelty of last year has therefore been retained: the Concert category, which has returned to the list, but included the last two years, due to cancellations linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. A health situation which had also upset the Revelations of the Year category from 2021, which had become non-mixed (previously Revelation stage and Album revelation), but separated into “male” and “female”.
Who votes for the Victoires de la Musique 2023?
For the Victoires de la Musique 2023, the public once again has the opportunity to vote in the category of Original Song of the Year. Voting will be open until the day before the ceremony. It will be possible to vote on the France Télévisions site, once a day, with an email address. For the other categories, the votes are entrusted to a college of voters, made up of 900 people, professionals in the music industry and members “outside the music industry”, recruited on a cover letter.
