MUSIC VICTORIES. Clara Luciani and Orelsan leave respectively with two and three Victoires de la Musique. Stromae will have offered one of the most beautiful performances of the ceremony.
[Mis à jour le 14 février 2022 à 06h57] The 37th Victoires de la Musique took place this Friday, February 11, 2022, from the Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt. Chaired by Stromae, the Victoires de la Musique ceremony was presented by Laury Thilleman and Olivier Minne. Throughout the evening, artists were rewarded in eight categories: Male Artist, Female Artist, Male Revelation, Female Revelation, Album, Original Song, Concert and Audiovisual Creation.
The two big winners of the evening are Orelsan, who won three Victories and Clara Luciani, who left with two trophies. Each was nominated in four categories. The other big winner of the evening will remain Stromae, who offered the audience of the ceremony one of the most beautiful performances of these Victories 2022.
Throughout the evening, the nominated artists were rewarded in the eight categories of the Victoires de la musique 2022. Here is the complete list of winners of this 37th ceremony:

Clara Luciani, by winning the Victoire de la musique for the artist of the year, succeeded Apple. The interpreter of Breathe again had already won this trophy in 2020. A second trophy for the singer, who also leaves with the Music Victory for Album of the Year, for her second album, Heart.
For his part, Orelsan, who had everything to harvest prizes, was, as expected, crowned at the Victoires de la Musique. Out of four nominations (like Clara Luciani), he leaves with three titles: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for The smell of gasoline and Audiovisual creation of the year for his documentary never show that to anyone.
The other winner of the Victoires de la Musique evening will remain Stromae. The singer, honorary president of the ceremony, opened the evening with a superb performance, first animated in tutorial to learn the choreography of Health, a single from his next album, which he then performed on the Victoires stage surrounded by his musicians. The Belgian then appeared to present the Artist of the Year trophy to Orelsan. MultitudeStromae’s new album, is expected in the spring.

This year, like last year, artists were nominated in eight categories: Male Artist, Female Artist, Male Revelation, Female Revelation, Album, Original Song, Concert and Audiovisual Creation. A small novelty therefore compared to last year, the Concert category made its return to the list, but included the last two years, due to cancellations linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. A health situation which had also upset the Revelations of the Year category last year, which had become non-mixed (previously Revelation stage and Album revelation), but separated into “male” and “female”.
For the Victoires de la Musique 2022, the public once again had the opportunity to vote in two categories: that of the Original Song and that of the Audiovisual Creation. Voting was open from January 10, 2022 at 8 p.m. to February 10, 2022 at 8 p.m., the day before the ceremony. It was possible to vote on the France Télévisions site, once a day, with an email address. For the other categories, the votes were entrusted to a college of voters, made up of 900 people, professionals in the music industry and members “outside the music industry”, recruited on a cover letter.
