Viaplay Group refers to “ongoing discussions with three of the company’s largest shareholders, with lenders and with bondholders regarding the potential recapitalization of the group”.
The company made an operating loss of SEK 6.5 billion during the second quarter. A large savings program has been launched, among other things, the number of employees is to be reduced by 25 percent. Viaplay’s share has lost 86 percent of its value since the turn of the year.
