Jamie Vardy’s second-half goal lifted Leicester to a 1-1 draw against Tottenham in the English Premier League.
Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou was disappointed when his proteges did not get the full points pot in Premier League football on Monday.
Pedro Porron the goal he completed at the half hour mark gave the visitors a 1–0 lead, but the 37-year-old Jamie Vardy leveled Leicester at 1–1 in the second half just under the hour mark at the King Power Stadium.
– The first half was excellent from us and we controlled the game, but we were ineffective in front of the goal. We also started the second half well, but when Leicester scored, the crowd seemed to wake up the home team. We lost our temper at the same time, just like last season. We have to be more ruthless in front of the goal, emphasized the Tottenham pilot to Sky Sports.
Tottenham won the match scoring attempts 15–7, shots on goal 7–3 and corner kicks 13–2.
