At 8.30 am Van der Beek set up his dark green tent and he has no plans to leave for the time being. His car full of gas bottles, cans of sausages, beans and goulash soup is parked at the Galgenwaard. “These are better neighbors than opposite,” says van der Beek, pointing to the barracks. “At FC Utrecht I am immediately offered coffee and allowed to go to the toilet. A warm welcome.”
