Version 3.8 in Genshin Impact launches with new banners on Wednesday

On Wednesday July 5th, 2023, Genshin Impact version 3.8 will launch “Summer! Paradise? Mirage!“. Here you will find all important information about the new version summarized.

When will version 3.8 be released? From July 05, 2023 at 00:00 the update will run in the game and will take about 5 hours. You cannot play Genshin Impact during this time. As compensation, however, you can expect 300 veterans.

What new characters are there in version 3.8? The update does not bring us any new playable characters. Instead, already known characters get their rerun banners.

What banners are in version 3.8? The banners will appear in two phases. The first phase will run from the start of the update on July 05, 2023 to July 25, 2023 17:59 and will contain the following banners:

  • “Hour of the Waves”with Eula as a 5 star character; Razor, Thoma and Mika as 4 star characters
  • “Flaming Footsteps”with Klee as a 5-star character; Razor, Thoma and Mika as 4 star characters
  • “Divine Work” with “Great Hands – Pine Sound” and “Catalyst – Prayers of the Four Winds”, several limited 4-star weapons

    • In the second phase there will be the two rerun banners from the 5-star characters Wanderer and Kokomi.

    What actions are there in the first part of version 3.8? For more information on these events, coming soon to Genshin Impact in the new version:
