Venezuela and Ecuador to victory in Copa America group B

In the Copa América football tournament of the American continent, Venezuela defeated Mexico 1–0, and rose to the top of its group.

Ecuador and Jamaica both went for their first win of the group stage, but Jamaica had to settle for defeat again. Ecuador took the points with a 3–1 win.

The match started unluckily for Jamaica when the ball went to the team’s midfielder by Kasey Palmer through to own goal.

In the extra time of the first period, Ecuador Kendry Paez scored a penalty kick to make it 2–0.

In the second half, Jamaica caught up and reduced the score to 1-2, the West Ham striker Michail Antonion by hitting

Antonio scored six goals in 26 matches for West Ham in the season that ended in the English Premier League.

In the first minute of added time, the 21-year-old Alan Minda scored the final scores 3–1 in favor of Ecuador.

With the defeat, Jamaica holds the last place in Group B. Ecuador is second.

Mexico waste the penalty kick

Venezuela rose to the top spot in Group B by beating Mexico, who dominated the game.

Venezuela’s 34-year-old attacking hero Salomon Rondon shot his team into a 1–0 lead in the 57th minute of the game.

Mexico, who won the scoring positions in the match 17–10, was able to try to equalize from a penalty kick in the 87th minute of the game, but in the club team, representing the Greek AEK Athens FC Orbel’s Pineda failed in his attempt.

I saw the points for Venezuela, who beat Ecuador 2–1 in their first game.

In the final round of the initial group, Venezuela will face Jamaica, which is the last in group B. Mexico, on the other hand, is fighting for the next place together with Ecuador.

Clearly leading the A group Lionel Messi’s Argentina is the reigning Copa América champion. It won the championship in 2021.
