The 2022 Regular Series of the Veikkausliiga season was packed after the 22nd round of matches played on Sunday.

In the battle for the top of the round, HJK claimed a narrow 2–1 victory over FC Honga with a last-minute hit and continues to the upper final series at the top of the standings ahead of KuPS, who also claimed a narrow 1–0 victory over VPS.
FC Haka secured their position in fourth by defeating FC Lahti away 1–0.
As for the clubs that continue in the lower final series, AC Oulu took a firm hold on first place and IFK Mariehamn’s 2–0 win over SJK mixed up the situation quite a bit. HIFK’s situation at the bottom of the league table got even darker after the 1-6 loss to AC Oulu.
The upper and lower final series of the Veikkausliiga will get going next weekend. The match programs will only be published on Monday. In the final series, the teams meet each other once, so there are still five matches left in the season.
