Vehicle break and enter in Simcoe

Norfolk OPP is investigating a vehicle break and enter parked in Simcoe.

Officers were called to a Cherry Street address at about 9:15 am July 17. Upon arrival, police determined that the vehicle was entered sometime overnight Sunday to Monday morning.

Once inside, a small quantity of items were stolen, police said.

Officers also discovered there had been an attempt to break into a trailer parked on the property.

Residents are being reminded to lock their vehicles and remove all valuables. Anyone spotting suspicious behavior is urged to call police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
