VEGEDREAM. The interpreter of the tube “Bring the cup home”, Vegedream, announced on Sunday December 25 that he was going to release a new title in tribute to the course of the Blues during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
[Mis à jour le 26 décembre 2022 à 16h46] This is an announcement that we no longer expected! The singer Vegedream, behind the hit “Bring the cup home” which accompanied the victory of the Blues at the 2018 World Cup, announced on Sunday December 25, 2022 on his social networks that a new title in tribute to the French team will be released in “two days”. “The machine is working. […] Two more days guys, just two days”, he said on Snapchat. Despite the defeat of the Blues against Argentina in the final of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, the artist intends to make France dance again with this new title which was originally planned in the event of victory. According to Vegedream, this track should therefore be released Tuesday, December 27, or Wednesday at midnightthe time when music streaming platforms make new songs available.
On December 19, the day after the 2022 World Cup final, several Snapchat videos in which we saw the artist recording a new song in honor of the Blues had been massively relayed on social networks. The same day, Vegedream published on his Instagram account a screenshot of a conversation with Antoine Griezmann, in which the footballer seemed to claim this new anthem. You can discover this extract below, in which the artist celebrates “Antoine Griezmanneven in midfield” or even Dayot Upamecano.
A few days later, the artist unveiled a new excerpt of this piece on TikTokin which he pays tribute this time to Kylian Mbappe, called “Kyky de Bondy”. “Kyky the legend, the control tower”, can we hear. The artist, who explained on Friday December 23 on his Snapchat account that this new title “was not to be released”, therefore seems to have changed his mind in the face of the enthusiasm aroused by the two excerpts published on social networks. A reversal that makes sense when you consider the success of “Bring the Cup Home”, which today combines 457 million views on Youtube.
