After Twitch streamer Simon “Unge” Wiefels made allegations against two of his viewers and his ex-girlfriend, the content creator’s former partner has now spoken out.
What is the current situation surrounding Unge? On the night of May 16, 2024, Twitch streamer and YouTuber Simon “Unge” Wiefels published a detailed statement on X, formerly Twitter. Apparently he wanted to forestall accusations that he was the male counterpart to the disgraced Anni The Duck. He evidently expected that he would soon find himself in the crosshairs of a public accusation.
Unge said that in reality there were three women who had been making his life difficult for years: two spectators and his ex-girlfriend Rachel.
Now, two weeks later, Rachel has spoken out in a YouTube video and made serious allegations against the content creator.
The German Twitch scene is currently in turmoil:
Ex-girlfriend reports abusive relationship
What does Rachel say? In her video, Rachel talks about how she experienced her relationship with Unge. He is said to have shown abusive behavior. Rachel reports that the content creator pressured her early on to move to Madeira with him.
However, as soon as she was there, Unge increasingly distanced himself from her and socially isolated her:
The relationship is said to have been a constant back and forth between rejection and so-called “love bombing”. This is a manipulative approach in which the person affected is literally showered with affection, for example after an argument.
Unge is said to have had a feud with her cat
Rachel also reports that Unge is said to have had a kind of feud with her cat Tyga. He shouted at the cat, denied the frightened animal any places to retreat, locked it out and even threw objects at it.
When Rachel intervened, Unge threw her to the ground. There are also reports of physical altercations.

Unge claims allegations are exaggerated
What does Unge say about this? The Twitch streamer reacted to his ex-girlfriend’s video late in the afternoon of May 25. Unge admits that there was “misconduct” on his part in the relationship, but this is mixed with strong exaggerations in the video.
Unge is particularly clear in distancing himself from the accusations that he treated Rachel’s cat badly. He does not want to be accused of such a thing. The Twitch streamer highlights points that he sees as contradictory.
Fans and colleagues are shocked by allegations
How is this discussed online? Many users on social networks are shocked by the allegations. The term “Unge” is trending on X, with more than 9,500 posts. Many find it particularly hard to believe that the Twitch streamer, as a vegan and alleged animal lover, is said to have treated an animal so badly.
Many fans have been following Unge for years and have grown up with his content. One mod from Unge’s Twitch chat writes that the allegations are “a stab in [seine] Childhood”, he said he hadn’t been this sad for a long time (via X).
Other content creators don’t know what to make of the whole thing either: rewinside writes, for example, that he no longer believes anyone in this scene and is “just sad and disappointed.” (via X)
For many, 2024 will be the year in which parts of the German influencer scene will be “exposed” and many content creators will show their true colors. It all started with accusations against Twitch streamer Anni The Duck, who quickly lost a good portion of the fans she had built up over 7 years. Since then, many have been wondering which influencers will be next.
