Volendam was promoted to the Eredivisie last season. “Welcome home”, the club writes when announcing Veerman’s return. In his first period in the orange shirt, the striker scored 22 goals in the first division. Halfway through the 2014-2015 season, in which he scored sixteen times for Volendam, he switched to Heerenveen.
