The municipality of Veenendaal secretly investigated the local mosques. That was allowed, according to a study that the municipality had carried out by an independent consultancy. In the report, the agency – law firm Verdonck, Klooster & Associates – states that the municipality should have made clearer what the considerations were for collecting that data. The results of the report were discussed in a council meeting last night.
