Västervik leaves – Djurgården to the semi-finals

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Tingsryd, which finished second last in the hockey Allsvenskan last season with nine points more than fellow team Västervik, may continue to play in the second highest series in the 2023–2024 season. It is clear since the team won the sixth match in the Småland qualifying meeting with Västervik with 2–0 and the match series in the best of seven with 4–2.

Behind the victory at Bortais were the goal scorers Felix Olsson and Daniel Öhrn, who each scored a puck within six minutes in the second period. Goalkeeper Tomas Rydén saved 19 shots and kept a clean sheet.

Djurgården is the first team ready for the semi-finals in the hockey Allsvenskan playoffs, where the winner takes Brynä’s place in the top league SHL next season.

In the away match against Bik Karlskoga, the Stockholmers turned a 1–2 deficit into a 6–3 victory in the Nobel Hall. The best-of-seven match series was won in four straight games, 4–0.

Södertälje evened its quarter-final series against Mora at 2–2 after a 3–2 victory at home in Scaniarinken.
