The Orange squad, with Sari van Veenendaal from Nieuwegein under the bar, fell behind after 20 minutes by a goal from Wendie Renard, who used a penalty. Five minutes later, Marie-Antoinette Katoto made it 2-0 with a chop. Shortly after the break, Lineth Beerensteyn narrowed the deficit, but Mark Parsons’ team was unable to equalize. Katoto determined the final score just before time, again with a chop ball.
