It was the fourth stage win for Wiebes (Team DSM), who had previously won the first, second and first part of the third stage. Her regional colleague Van Dijk (Trek-Segafredo) had won the prologue in Utrecht on Wednesday and was again the fastest in an individual time trial on Saturday in the second part of the third stage.
