Montenegro won 35-34 in Skopje after a halftime score of 18-18. Montenegro briefly had a three-hit lead early in the game, a margin that was regained at 33-30 midway through the second half. Romania, the bottom of the group, came back to one goal in the final phase. However, a stunt, necessary for the Orange, failed to materialize.
