Pune – Veenendaler Botic left a match point unused in the ATP tournament. In his first match of 2023, he lost in a doubles match. Together with Rohan Bopanna he took on the Mexican Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela and Ramkumar Ramanathan in Pune, India. It became 7-6 (5) 6-7 (4) 11-9.
