VEENENDAAL – Botic van de Zandschulp has entered the top 30 of the world ranking. The best tennis player in the Netherlands rose three places and is now number 29 in the world. The 26-year-old Veenendaler made it to the second round of the masters tournament in Rome last week, in which he lost to Norwegian Casper Ruud. Due to his entry into the top 30, Van de Zandschulp is next week placed at Roland Garros, the second grand slam tournament of the year. The best 32 tennis players have protected status in the grand slams.
