Valve is buffing 4 heroes in Deadlock – one of them is already one of the best

Valve released a small patch for the MOBA shooter Deadlock on October 27th that brought a number of balancing changes. There was also a buff for a hero who is one of the most popular and strongest heroes in the game.

Which hero is it about? Seven received a small buff with the October 27th patch. His Storm Cloud ability now deals more damage per second:

  • Damage per second increased from 110 to 120.
  • Seven has the seventh highest win rate (50.6%) of all 27 heroes that Deadlock currently has to offer and is just behind 6th place (as of October 29th via blitz.gg). Seven is also one of the three most played heroes with a pick rate of 56%. Only Infernus and Haze are still played more often.

Seven has a very special reputation in the Deadlock community: The hero is particularly strong against beginners. In general, the hero is considered relatively beginner-friendly and quick to learn. At higher levels, the electric specialist loses effectiveness and strength, but Seven can shine especially in lobbies with poorer players and beginners.
