The updates of Dota 2 are anything but reliable when it comes to release times. After the long waiting time, a player became impatient and started to threaten a penguin in the game. Valve brought out one of the biggest updates for Dota 2 a few days later.
What about the penguins? As early as 2018, a picture of the hero Bounty Hunter was posted on Reddit, in which he threatened a penguin. The demand was easy, Valve should be released as soon as possible, otherwise worse will happen with the penguin.
Eight years later, the same threat reappeared. The demands are the same. After 6 months of waiting, Valve should finally publish the patch 7.38.
Six days after the Reddit post, Valve finally released her huge update “Wandering Water Rays” on the Dota 2 players.

This is the biggest update in a long time
What is the biggest change in the update? The biggest change is the map of Dota 2. The river in the middle has expanded into the jungle and behind the Lanes. If you run in the same direction as the current, you get a movement boost.
The terrain has also been changed. Some additional buildings have been postponed and sometimes offer new functions.
With patch 7.38, the Boss Roshan is back in the river and runs from one pit to another at certain times of the game. While the river has expanded, new neutral opponents came to the menu. During the game, the new frog creatures continue to develop from simple tadpoles to the ancient swamp magician.
Are there any changes to the items? A new mechanics were introduced with regard to the neutral items that are dropped by the Jungle Monsters. You can now build and enchant the items with a currency that you get from fully fully fought jungle camps. These enchants offer different bonuses to further adapt your playing style.
Most normal items have received updates or revision and some new items have been added.
What else is new? There are currently 126 different heroes. Each of them got 7.38 buffs or nerfs in patch. Many of the facets that can be selected at the beginning to adapt the playing style of his hero have also been changed.
