Valtteri Bottas was left in 12th place in Australian time. The pile was taken by Charles Leclerc before Max Verstappen. Ferrari was also disappointed when times became tinted with interruptions.

Top name in the F1 series Charles Leclerc drove to the pole position for the Australian race. In an exciting time trial, Leclerc defeated the reigning champion Max Verstappen With 0.286 seconds. Red Bullin Sergio Perez was third.

McLaren, who has been in trouble since the beginning of the season, has been hit in Australia. As proof of that Lando Norris was fourth ahead of Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamiltonia and George Russelia.

Ferrari was also seen with great disappointment when Carlos Sainz was only ninth. Sainz’s fast lap was abandoned at the end of the last section when time trials were suspended Fernando Alonson due to the exit just before Sainz got to the finish line.

Leclerc, on the other hand, managed to drive the top spot and held on to it until the end, even though Red Bull’s Max Verstappen improved at the end.

Anyway, the time trials stretched to over an hour and a half. Lance Stroll and Nicholas Latifi crashing in the opening. At the end of it Alex Albon froze on the track.

Bottas’ dizzying series broke down

Valtteri Bottas was 12th in Australian time. Before Australia, Bottas had drove as many as 103 times in a row to the finals of the time trials, the top ten.

However, Bottas did not get the best out of Australia in the second section. In the first section, the situation looked good, when at the very beginning the Finn shook the best time behind Ferrari and Red Bull.

Only F1 legends Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna have reached the same tube with Bottas. Prost was among the top ten 109 times in a row in time. Senna’s quotation was 137.

Bottas had last dropped out of the top ten in Brazil in November 2016.
