Riot Games has officially introduced Valorant’s newest agent in a first trailer. You can see the duelist “Iso”, who eliminates his enemies with deadly precision. Shrouded in myths, all he lacks in the trailer is his white hair to be a real protagonist of an anime.
Who is the new agent? Valorant’s new agent is the duelist “Iso” from China, who will be joining the popular tactical shooter in Episode 7 Act 3.
What does the trailer show? In the first half of the new trailer we see some supposed villains about to put a mysterious plan into action.
But during the operation, one of the armed fighters asks whether all this is worth risking his own life – after all, a contract killer is supposedly after them. An assassin who single-handedly takes out entire operations.
Shortly afterwards, one of the fighters says that the assassin in question is bulletproof. Animated scenes follow that show Iso with a casual walk and purple glowing eyes, who takes out his opponents with ease.
The voice of one of the fighters can then be heard again, who continues to tell the myths that are spread about Iso: anyone who stands against him will disappear. He is a “bulletproof wizard”.
Shortly afterwards, Iso himself appears and takes out all four villains before he sees the face of his next target on his smartphone: the Valorant agent “Omen”.

Why does Iso seem like an anime hero? Overall, Iso is portrayed in the trailer like the cool hero from an anime. So not like the young person who has great potential and is supposed to become a great fighter, but like the character who, through his enormous strength, is a role model for the young person and shares his tricks.
Iso walks casually, doesn’t let himself be disturbed, has bright eyes and myths are told about his strength – but he lacks the white hair to be a real badass anime character.
In addition to the trailer, there are already some leaks about the new duelist’s abilities. We won’t go into the leaks any further, but here too Iso has already been compared to the well-known anime character “Satoru Gojo” from Jujutsu Kaisen, as he has similar abilities (via Twitter).
How does the community react? The trailer was really well received in the comments on YouTube. Many fans praise the quality of the animations and even joke that Riot Games makes really good games for an animation studio.
After 2 hours, the trailer already has over 380,000 views and 60,000 likes on YouTube. There will be an insight into official gameplay in a reveal on October 20th.
