Valkyrie Elysium release date has been announced as September 29, 2022 for PS4 and PS5, and November 11 for PC platform.
Yes, you read that right, Square Enix will also release Valkyrie Elysium on Steam, thus marking the first time a Valkyrie game has been released on the PC platform.

The new trailer released contains more satisfying gameplay elements than the first one. Valkyrie Elysium was announced for PS4 and PS5 3 months ago, but no release date was given. Valkyrie Elysium, the fifth game in the series, will be the first game to come to the PC platform. Square Enix used the expressions “An original story set in a world on the brink of extinction” when announcing the game.
In other words, it seems that you will not need to have played the previous games to understand Elysium. However, there will be surprises for players who have been playing the game for a long time. Elysium is described as a new entry in the series that started with Valkyrie Profile in 1999.
