Välimäki froze in the final round of the PGA tournament | Sports in a nutshell

Sami Valimaki returned to the courts on the PGA tour

Golf professional Sami Välimäki fell down the leaderboard when he finished the men’s PGA tour tournament in the United States.

Sami Välimäki played two-over-par in the final round in Jackson, and his total score was -8.

Välimäki hit one birdie in the final round. The scorecard was marred by three bogeys from the back of the field.

The final round was Välimäki’s worst in the tournament, as he played the opening round to -2 and the second and third rounds both to -4.

Even though Välimäki’s last round was low on the green, his passage from qualifying to the last two rounds ensures the Finn a place on next season’s PGA tour.

Jackson’s PGA Tour is still in progress. Välimäki started in the final round from the shared 41st place and, while the competition is still in progress, is in the shared 63rd place.
