Urpo Sivula has been in great mood in the volleyball Championship League. Sivula will change VaLePa games for the rest of the season in the Italian A2 league.
Sastama’s Valepa chipper Urpo Sivula has signed a player contract for the rest of the season to the second highest level in Italy in the A2 League. The new team of Sivula is the Volley Porto Estonian team seeking playoffs. At least for the time being, Sivula played his last game in the Championship League on Sunday, when VaLePa defeated Karelia’s Hurmos 3-2.
Italy is a country familiar to Sivula as he played in Monza during the 2009–2010 season and region in Emilia 2010-2011.
– Italy is a favorite for me, volleyball is a big deal there and the level of A2 is quite tough. The language still fell as I talked to the club manager. It’s a rough speech, but it will be understood, Sivula said On VaLePa’s website.
– I know about the team about six players. Last year, the club was fourth in the regular season, but this season the young level has fluctuated a lot. The fight for the playoffs at 7-9 will be tight and the first home game is important.
The Porto Estonian team has a Brazilian and Greek general player, but the others are Italian. The team is currently ninth in the standings and will face Siena, one place higher on Sunday. In the same league, another Finnish chopper, also plays Samuli Kaislasalowhose club Pineto is seventh in the series.
According to VaLePa, Sivula offered the opportunity to play abroad, and the club did not want to be an obstacle.
– Yes, the situation came really fast, and it is difficult to answer at this stage. There is only the end of January to find a page replacement for the rules. Of course, game options are considered according to the existing configuration. There are little options for the team’s confirmation, VaLePa’s Executive Director Hanna Arve-Talvitie stated.
VaLePa is currently fourth in the Championship League with Savo Volley, third in even points. Sivula has been responsible for his team’s score and is second in the League points statistics with 479 points.
