Two major changes are announced for February 15: the booster dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 must be carried out 3 months after the initial vaccination to maintain a valid vaccination pass and the recovery certificate will no longer be valid for 6 months but only 4 months.
Changes from February 15
The rules of the vaccination pass and the recovery certificate change once again, on February 15, 2022 and concern all people aged at least 18 years and one month. On this date, the booster dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 must be carried out in accordance with two conditions, to maintain a valid vaccination pass:
- Perform this booster as early as 3 months after the end of the initial vaccination (two doses)
- And, because these are two cumulative conditions, achieve it within a maximum of 4 months. In other words, the person has one month to complete their recall (or boost).
What is your situation?
Several scenarios may arise:
- If you have received 2 doses of vaccine, you must do your booster no later than 4 months after the 2nd injection;
- If you had Covid-19 and then received a single dose of vaccine (Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, Moderna), you must do the booster no later than 4 months after the injection;
- If you received a dose of vaccine (AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna or Janssen) and then had Covid-19 more than 15 days after the injection, you must do the booster no later than 4 months after infection , the duration of the certificate of reinstatement;
- If you have had Covid-19 and then received a dose of Janssen after the infection, you must do the booster no later than 2 months after the injection;
- If you are not yet eligible for the booster dose, the vaccination certificate attesting to a complete initial vaccination (single dose or 2 doses) remains valid.
