The left-wing party in the city of Stockholm is reacting to the Sweden Democrats’ proposal to demolish parts of the million-dollar program houses in socially vulnerable areas and replace them with condominiums and terraced houses in order to reduce housing segregation.

– It is an ill-conceived proposal that is about the Sweden Democrats in Stockholm being nervous about the election and needing to make this kind of stunt to get attention, says Clara Lindblom (V), opposition councillor.

Clara Lindblom believes that there is a reason why many low-income earners live in the same place, such as in socially vulnerable areas.
