AMERSFOORT/UTRECHT – The water polo players of UZSC from Utrecht have booked a narrow 11-12 victory on a visit to ZPB. ZPC Amersfoort also won in the Eredivisie. At home, PSV was defeated 10-6.
The Utrecht team remain fifth in the Eredivisie with 36 points from seventeen games. ZPC Amersfoort is one place lower with 32 points from seventeen matches.
Tension until the end at UZSC
UZSC and ZPB did not manage to diverge widely. In the last period, it was 10-10, then the Utrecht team scored twice. The home team took care of the connecting goal, but in the end the points went to UZSC. Flemming Kastrop was top scorer at UZSC with four goals.
At ZPC Amersfoort – PSV, the first period ended in 3-2. No goals were scored in the second period. In the last two periods, the Amersfoort-squad opened a gap, which ultimately resulted in the win. Gergely Palotás and Milán Börcsök were joint top scorer at ZPC Amersfoort with three goals.
