The constitutional referendum in Uzbekistan has been approved by more than 90%, announced the Electoral Commission on Monday, May 1, 2023. The text proposes to strengthen the power of President Chavkat Mirzioev, who claims to want to open a new era of development in this ex- soviet republic.
