Utrecht – Long covid, or long-term covid, is a worldwide problem. Recent research shows that one in eight people have permanent complaints from a corona infection, but there is no medicine or proper treatment (yet). Students from Utrecht University are trying to come up with solutions for the disease with the lung covid challenge. “We hope to take a small step forward in this way,” says Niels Bovenschen, education coordinator at the Faculty of Medicine.
