Some important insights from the research:
• 474,476 people took part in one or more of the 153 social projects of the Eredivisie clubs during the ’21/’22 season.
• In the ’21/’22 season, players devoted more than a thousand hours to social projects.
• The eighteen Eredivisie clubs together spent more than €4.6 million, excluding associated personnel costs, on social projects in the ’21/’22 season.
• 47% of the Dutch felt that the Eredivisie was socially involved in the ’21/’22 season. This is an increase of 8% compared to the start of the season.
