A wolf has been sighted in the national park since March 8, partly based on DNA samples. “The wolf is a descendant of the Noord-Veluwe pack and is the first wolf to have a territory in the province of Utrecht,” writes BIJ12. In the new report, the Utrechtse Heuvelrug has therefore been put on the map as wolf territory, a spokesperson for BIJ12 confirms.
