Utrecht – After months of brainstorming, writing and making music, the time has finally come: eight young people from Utrecht presented their own climate song ‘Biodivercity’ this morning. They did this during the Climate Classic cycling tour, which leads the participants along the coastline that arises in the Netherlands when the sea level rises too far. The song is part of the ‘Climate Songfest’ project, which aims to give young people a voice in the regional climate debate. “It sounds like music to my ears,” says climate deputy Huib van Essen.
