It is striking that the Provincial Council now wants rest areas for wild animals. A month ago they voted against, but last week the idea won by one vote. “We all saw what happened last summer,” says Olivia Butterman, member of parliament for the Party for the Animals. She is referring to the various incidents between the wolf and man and once a miniature poodle. “Then it is useful to offer the wolf a little more space. So that there is less interaction, and everyone can go their own way.”
