Although the investigation into the construction of a bicycle street has now been completed, an investigation into traffic safety on the Vleutenseweg will also be carried out from the middle of this month. Utrecht residents have been complaining for years about the unclear situation on that road, but the immediate reason for that investigation is the fatal accident with a city bus in March. A 7-year-old girl was killed and her 5-year-old brother was seriously injured.
